You have reached the website of the neige d'aout collective. Please leave a message after the beep.

neige d'aout is composed of artists Jules P. Savard and Yuki Hazuki, which are rumored to be the same person under various pseudonyms, but that's an unproven theory. They're very well known for fucking around and finding out, a bunch of art, and their implication in Québec City's community.

Content warning:re: abpol, opinionDo you support the Government of Alberta working with the governments of other willing provinces to amend the Canadian Constitution to better protect provincial rights from federal interference by giving a province's laws dealing with provincial or shared areas of constitutional jurisdiction priority over federal laws when the province's laws and federal laws conflict?yesas I understand, in the US states can more or less override federal law, but in Canada they kinda arbitrarily separated laws to be federal or provincial matter and the different levels of government can't legislate on each other's matters, which sounds kinda stupid and I would agree it is, so yeahthis would give provinces more independence without leaving Canada, tbh I'd see Canada as a supranational organization like the EU

Content warning:re: abpol, opinionDo you support the Government of Alberta working with the governments of other willing provinces to amend the Canadian Constitution to allow provinces to opt out of federal programs that intrude on provincial jurisdiction such as health care, education and social services, without a province losing any of the associated federal funding for use in its social programs?what does that even mean, sounds like you want the cake and eat it too, you want to opt out from programs but actually no you don'tno

Content warning:re: abpol, opinionthe next 4 questions are pretty much about restricting pretty much everything from healthcare to education and voting to Canadian citizens and permanent residents and charging a fee to people with non-permanent immigration status to use these serviceswell if you tax them they do deserve these services, so nope

Content warning:re: abpol, opiniondo you want my opinion? IMO most of these questions would apply to every province including Québec so here goesDo you support the Government of Alberta taking increased control over immigration for the purposes of decreasing immigration to more sustainable levels, prioritizing economic migration and giving Albertans first priority on new employment opportunities?I would agree for a provincial government having more control over immigration but not necessarily for this purpose, so would I vote yes or no?This doesn't bode well for the Clarity Act already
